Supplement Purchase & Use Terms

These terms explain the rules that apply when supplements or supplement protocols associated with DrBradShook.com or Brad Shook's functional medicine practice are purchased or used through Fullscript.

DrBradShook.comEffective October 3, 2026

These terms apply to supplement protocols, supplement recommendations, and supplement purchases accessed through DrBradShook.com or Brad Shook's functional medicine practice and fulfilled through Fullscript.

1. Scope and Acceptance

These Supplement Purchase & Use Terms apply whether you are an existing consulting client of Brad Shook, DC, AFMC or are purchasing a public supplement protocol or product without an individualized consulting relationship.

By using DrBradShook.com to access a supplement protocol or recommendation and proceeding to purchase, reorder, or use supplements through a linked Fullscript account or plan, you acknowledge and agree to these Supplement Purchase & Use Terms, the Terms of Use, Disclaimer, Refund Policy, and applicable Fullscript terms and policies.

If a separate signed consulting agreement, informed consent, or purchase-specific agreement applies to you, that more specific agreement also applies to the matters it addresses.

2. Supplement Purchases Do Not Establish or Extend Individualized Care

Purchasing, receiving, reordering, or continuing to have access to a supplement or supplement protocol through Fullscript does not by itself establish, renew, extend, or expand an individualized consulting relationship with Brad Shook, DC, AFMC.

Individuals who are not consulting clients do not receive individualized evaluation, review of medical records, medication review, laboratory interpretation, ongoing monitoring, personalized supplement selection, telephone or video consultation, or ongoing access to Dr. Shook merely because they purchase or use a public supplement protocol.

Existing consulting clients remain subject to their signed Practice Better agreements, informed consents, individualized written recommendations, and any stated reassessment or follow-up requirements.

3. Public and Self-Directed Supplement Protocols

Public supplement protocols are self-directed educational and wellness resources. They may provide organized supplement, nutrition, and lifestyle information, but they are not individualized to your complete medical history, medications, laboratory findings, allergies, pregnancy status, diagnoses, or other personal circumstances unless a separate individualized service expressly states otherwise.

You are responsible for deciding whether a self-directed protocol is appropriate for your circumstances and for obtaining appropriate professional guidance when needed.

4. Individualized Recommendations for Existing Clients

When Dr. Shook provides an individualized supplement recommendation within an active consulting relationship, the recommendation is based on the information available at that time and remains subject to the client's signed agreements and written instructions.

The continued availability of a product through Fullscript, the ability to reorder it, an automatic refill, a purchase confirmation, or any communication generated by Fullscript does not mean that Dr. Shook has reassessed, renewed, or extended an individualized recommendation.

Where a written recommendation states a duration or reassessment period, that written duration controls. Continued use after that period without appropriate reassessment is outside the scope of Dr. Shook's active recommendation unless he expressly renews or changes it in writing.

5. Supplement Safety and Individual Responsibility

Dietary supplements can have side effects, contraindications, allergies, and interactions with medications, other supplements, medical conditions, procedures, pregnancy, breastfeeding, or other individual circumstances.

Before beginning a self-directed supplement protocol, review the complete product labels and consider discussing the products with an appropriately licensed healthcare professional who is familiar with your health history and medications. Existing consulting clients are responsible for keeping Dr. Shook informed of relevant medications, supplements, allergies, medical conditions, pregnancy or breastfeeding, planned procedures, and significant changes in health while individualized recommendations are active.

Do not start, stop, increase, decrease, or substitute a prescription medication because of a supplement protocol, website article, Fullscript recommendation, or supplement purchase. Medication decisions should be made with the healthcare professional responsible for prescribing or managing the medication.

6. Duration, Reassessment, Reorders, and Auto Refills

Supplement recommendations and protocols are not an authorization for indefinite use. Follow any stated duration and reassessment instructions.

A reorder, recurring shipment, auto refill, or continued product availability does not constitute reassessment and does not renew an expired individualized recommendation. If your medications, health status, laboratory findings, symptoms, pregnancy status, or other circumstances change, the appropriateness of a supplement may also change.

7. Product Labels, Formulations, and Availability

Manufacturers may change ingredients, serving sizes, concentrations, warnings, packaging, or formulations. Product availability may also change. Review the current label before use, including after a reorder or manufacturer change.

DrBradShook.com and Brad Shook do not guarantee that a particular supplement, brand, formulation, price, discount, or package size will remain available.

8. Fullscript Fulfillment and Third-Party Policies

Supplements made available through DrBradShook.com or Brad Shook's functional medicine practice are fulfilled through Fullscript unless expressly stated otherwise. DrBradShook.com and Brad Shook do not manufacture, warehouse, package, or ship products fulfilled by Fullscript.

Fullscript controls payment processing, inventory, order processing, shipping, order modifications, cancellations, returns, replacements, product-quality complaints, and other fulfillment matters governed by Fullscript's current policies. Those policies may change over time and apply in addition to these terms.

Because Fullscript may begin processing orders quickly, an order may not be modifiable or cancelable after it has been placed. Review your cart, shipping information, quantities, and products carefully before completing an order.

9. Refunds, Returns, Product Complaints, and Adverse Reactions

Eligibility for a refund, return, replacement, cancellation, or shipping adjustment for a Fullscript supplement order is determined under Fullscript's current policies and any rights that cannot legally be waived. DrBradShook.com does not independently promise a refund for a transaction controlled by Fullscript.

If you experience a concerning reaction associated with a supplement, discontinue the suspected product when appropriate and seek guidance from an appropriate healthcare professional. Severe, rapidly worsening, or potentially life-threatening symptoms require urgent or emergency medical evaluation.

Product-quality concerns, damaged products, expired products, and Fullscript order issues should be reported through Fullscript's applicable support or complaint process.

A refund, credit, replacement, accommodation, or other exception granted in one circumstance does not modify these terms, create a precedent, or create an entitlement to the same exception in another transaction.

10. No Guarantee of Results

No supplement, supplement protocol, product description, testimonial, case example, or recommendation guarantees a particular health outcome, symptom change, laboratory result, remission, or other result. Individual responses vary.

11. Communication and Support Boundaries

A supplement purchase does not create unlimited access to Dr. Shook or the practice. Nonclients who purchase public supplement protocols are not entitled to individualized case review, telephone support, portal messaging, laboratory interpretation, or personalized treatment recommendations unless those services are separately purchased and expressly included.

Existing clients should use the communication methods designated in their Practice Better agreements and client portal. Social media messages, public comments, general website forms, and other informal channels should not be used for urgent or clinical matters.

12. Changes to These Terms and Applicable Version

These terms may be updated as products, services, vendors, professional requirements, or business practices change. The current version will be posted on this page with a revised effective date.

For a completed purchase, any transaction-specific terms presented at the time of purchase remain applicable to that transaction to the extent required by law or the applicable agreement. A casual conversation, email, text message, scheduling accommodation, refund exception, or other informal communication does not permanently modify these terms or waive the right to enforce them in the future.
