Does fasting 16/8 hurt thyroid production?

Ugh. Inflammation. It’s the worst. Every blood test comes back high WBC, high inflammation, high SED. This has been my issue for at least 6 years on EVERY blood test. They have tested me for everything under the sun. All they can tell me is hypothyroidism, IBS, fibromyalgia, CFS. Every year they add a new disease to that list. I’m not even 40. There’s no way there’s that much wrong with me. They’re missing something. They only test TSH and refuse to do other thyroid testing. They insist it’s something autoimmune going on yet they can’t find anything definitive. So expensive and frustrating. My life is wasting away.

JL Iksnerts you need a new dr

I’ve switched multiple times. It’s the area I live in. Poorest city in PA. No access to decent care. I applied for a consultation with Dr. Shook. Leaving my area for care is my only option, in my opinion.

JL Iksnerts that is a drive. Have you looked for closer functional meds? Good Luck!

JL Iksnerts I know exactly how you feel, I was there at age 38. Since I started learning and working with Dr. Shook over a year ago I made significant progress and I am so much better at almost 45. I am still working out some things, but so much better. One of my strengths is advocating for myself with my doctor and getting the tests I need. I am fortunate to have a doctor that supports me with Dr. Shook’s recommendations testing. If your doctor will not give you the appropriate tests for your thyroid, then search for a doctor that will. Keep fighting and don’t give up!

I want to lose weight, but I struggle with Hashimoto’s. I take levothyroxine and my Endocrinologist is still trying to get me leveled.

Is it bad im in tears because something finally makes sense. I went into such a bad depression because my dr and husband strongly agreed that it was just me with anxiety and I knew it was more but couldnt explain it.

How do you test or figure out the inflammation going on in your body?
