When the cdc says high risk to immune deficiency does that mean issues like hashimoto ?

    • Catherine Comeyne Reply

Brandy Moore Ballard People with Hashimoto is an over reactive immune system not an immune deficiency .

      • The Office of Dr. Brad Shook

Brandy, people that are autoimmune may or may not be immune deficient, usually not. If qhite blood cells are low, the person may be immune compromised.

Does HCL w pepsin resolve rosacea

    • The Office of Dr. Brad Shook Reply

Hi Bev. Rosacea could be driven by several different problems, and the underlying mechanism isn’t well understood. It is believed that gut infections, bacterial overgrowth, and hormone imbalances are believed to be significant underlying driving factors. HCL w/ pepsin may improve acidity and methylation, but to have the best chance of improving you need to have a good workup and testing to try and understand underlying mechanisms that may be driving it. Hope this helps.

I used to lift weights 2 to 5lbs it was good for me then I had bypass surgery and could not lift above my head I got out of a routine and now I wish I could get back into once

    • The Office of Dr. Brad Shook Reply

Cindy, I’m sorry you’re not able to do that now. There could be a lot of reasons that this is happening but your cardiologist would be the person to help you better understand if it’s residual from the bypass.

If it is related to the heart they can give you a better idea of what you can do for rehabilitation.

  68. Cindy Krinke Reply

To tilly I have been having these symptoms more lately I take thyroid meds ever day I take folic acid vit d b vitamins and more supplements I have heart disease also take baby aspirin and my one heart med but I am exhausted ever day have ha blurry eyes dizzy so what do I do

    • The Office of Dr. Brad Shook Reply

Cindy, if you’re still having the symptoms the first thing to do is talk to your doctor and see if they can help you get to the bottom of it, but we very frequently see people that are taking supplements and medications and still feel bad. Often, we find underlying biochemical issues that we’re not detected that need to be addressed.
