Do you help people with Graves? or just Hashis?
Hi Tiffany, yes I work with Graves’ too. More than anything I work with autoimmune conditions.
Where would be the best place to look to get access to the results and learn the most common food types?
The test results are not yet published. As soon as they are I will share with everyone.
When I was about 8 I was diagnosed with Hashimotos. Many years later I am now going thru what seems like early stages of menopause and I have low Thyroid. Taking 100mcg levithyrorone. Does that mean I now longer have Hashirmotos? Would the diet you are discussing be something that could help?
Thank you.
What blood tests are Avaliable now, that you would recommend please for hashimotos/ autoimmune people?
I like cyrex labs.
I think I need all of their blood test packages
Thanks
I was diagnosed with Hashimoto Thyroiditis, had TT in October 2015 … Now my levels are crazy high 178 at one time now 133 and i take 400mcg of synthroid…
I was told once I had TT I do not have Hashimoto anymore, so need testing me for any other autoimmune … is this true and if so what could be wrong that my levels are so out of whack ?
Hi Tammy. Once you have an autoimmune condition you always have it. As of right now we don’t know how to turn off a gene once it has been turned on, but we can work on dampening the expression of the gene by working on your environment so things like food environmental compounds and infections are critical if you’re going to dampen and improve an autoimmune condition.
I appreciate hearing your broadcasts. I appreciate all the great information. But I’m a bit worried….are you in an underground bunker someplace?
Ha, ha! Yes, I have an underground bomb shelter. No, jk. It is an infrared sauna. When I’m in the sauna is about the only time that I have to record videos and teach.

Dr Shook! Can you direct me to a dr in VA that understands what you are talking about that would know what to test! I have learned a lot on my own over the years! I live in Roanoke VA, but would be willing to travel outside Roanoke!
Ohhhh my thank you so much. I have Hashimotos and the chronic Hives.. I have had reactions to the plant based foods nothing is working.. I am afraid to even eat. I have flares with everything now ..foods even like fruits that I have ate all my life.. Thank goodness you are hearing!!!!
I have hashimotos and am a gastric sleeve patient, I’m having trouble absorbing, trying sublingual compounded T3/T4. Also started taking LDN. I’m at a loss on my flares.. Food confuses me, I need more protein but my THS levels have jumped up to 106! That’s why I’m on sublingual now.. I’ hate this disease! My pain is horrible ..now I’m being told I have ankleotispondlitis, I eat clean..what can I do..I’m tired..
Is there a connection with food additives like MSG or dyes?? Dr. Brad Shook???
