I am a plant-based individual, I transitioned about a year ago because I had many digestive issues. I am also hypothyroid. I have felt a HUGE difference when removing animal protein, wheat, gluten, dairy, and soy. Just saw a functional medicine doctor Friday and he wants me add animal protein again. I am currently searching for plant-based doctors or one that will be willing to work with me through my choices. Hope you can reply. Thank you.

All immediately following having my thyroid removed, I began to experience, acid reflux, digestive problems, and for the first time, scar tissue build up, where steroidal tape had to be applied to just settle it down.
