What about taking probiotics?
Yes, taking probiotics between doses of antibiotics is usually a good approach to help minimize loss of good bacteria.

How do I know if I have leaky gut?
You can get tested for it, but in most cases, if the person is autoimmune we just assume they have it because it is so common.

Hi Helen, it can. What I see cause swelling most frequently is an imbalance of bacteria that feeds off of the fibers and sugars in your diet. Also, the gallbladder has to be considered as do other medical conditions that have to be ruled out. Hope this helps!
