This is a VERY common pattern that causes a lot of people to have symptoms even when their labs are normal!

Need reasoning why my tsh would be so high. Dr’s keep asking if I’m taking my meds. I don’t miss and don’t take other meds with it

    Jessica, how high?

I was diagnosed with thyroid/ pituitary hormone resistance syndrome just over a year ago, and 2 half sisters and their cousin have been since. As it’s so rare the testing took a while as the medical teams had no idea on the procedures for the tests, and I now have general anxiety disorder. My medical team are constantly looking for a way to treat it but right now a beta blocker is helping. Sadly my half sisters were misdiagnosed and their thyroids were removed, this is causing them so many problems. I’m thankful my team understand, and my children are aware this is hereditary.

How do you get homocysteine under control if you’ve inherited MTHFR. My daughter has 2 SNP’s unfortunately. She’s only 22.

My Rt3 was at 30 when on ndt – now I take small amount of Ndt and rest t3 my Rt3 is at 5….clearly I was having conversion issues and had to figure this out on my own sadly! I have Hashimoto, hypothyroid, Vitilago and gluten intolerance. My TSH is at 0.01 and most drs tell me I’m getting too much thyroid hormone. Strangely when I was taking T3 only my Tsh went up to 128 – nobody seems to know why!
