It’s a shame that people like you are negatively impacted when you’re really trying to help individuals.

  9. Kim Guthrie Reply

Perhaps a little controversial if you are helping people to heal and take them out of the medical system. Oops! Just a little bit skeptical. Big brother is watching.

#bloodsugarmatters Learn something new everyday! I only associated blood sugar levels to diabetes….even though I have been trying to battle my Hashimotos for over 10 years.

Gluten destroys me. It destroys my stomach, causes flare ups, joint pain, muscle spasms, rash, etc. I have never been tested for Celiac. I have Hashimoto’s.

  21. Kim Guthrie Reply

Gosh darn! Bread is my biggest weakness. I’m sad to hear that even one grain of gluten can have an impact. I’ve been kind of gluten free. I guess given what you’ve just said… I’m not gluten free. Best I get my focus on.

It’s worth giving it a try. My advice to anyone watching… jump on the challenge, it will make a difference.

What if your thyroid has been removed … is the Hashimoto still there?

  34. Michelle Klacza Reply

I’ve been so confused since removing my thyroid 11 years ago. I had graves. They suspected hurthle cell, but didn’t have it. Ever since I’ve been on 75 mcgs of synthroid. How on earth can I manage with such a low dose and no thyroid present?

blood sugar issues for years, tried many Endocrinologists and no one wanted to help because I haven’t passed the threshold to being type 2 diabetic, my A1C just hovers the line of normal and prediabetic, I eat paleo to try to prevent diabetes, but still can’t lose weight and lower that A1C

Positive reaffirmation can do wonders, focus on what we can change (behavior) and let go of what we have no control of (results)

  57. Jaime Bodwell Ramthun Reply

What would be REALLY helpful is to have a script to be able to convey to our doctors, something that would not make the doctors feel defensive nor dismissive but peek their curiosity
