Oxygen therapy is a research based therapy that has the potential to help those suffering from Cluster Headaches. There is new research that was just published in “Headache, The Journal of Head and Face Pain” that reviews some of the results from the United States Cluster Headache Survey. The survey showed that a little know therapy for cluster headaches, oxygen therapy, is underutilized1.
We have been using high flow oxygen therapy in the treatment of cluster headaches for almost two years now, and the benefit this therapy can offer is amazing. I have other posts on oxygen therapy siting several research articles on this therapy.
