Research shows that Vitamin D’s role in your body is much greater and more important than originally thought. Decreased Vitamin D is associated with an increased risk of autoimmune diseases and poor respiratory function, including asthma1. As is turns out, Vit D regulates your “T Cells” and vitamin D has the capacity to inhibit inappropriate immune responses that cause disease regulation of your immune1. Get your Vitamin D levels checked, supplement in deficient, and then RETEST so you know if your levels are responding to supplementation or if they are to high. To much D can harm your kidneys!
