Thank you for explaining it helps me understand what is going on with my body

Excellent advice…gotta stay in Sherlock Holmes mode to fish out ROOT causes. Then customize care to tackle those. Conventional medicine misses the boat on this…pass on boarding that old-school boat!

My cortisol is on the curve now, inflammatory markers are good. Still cannot get my T3 Free up in the range. My Reverse T3 was elevated and I started T3 meds, which lowered this back down. What if you are not a good converter of T4 to T3?

If everything has been ruled out, then that may be the case, but I have very rarely worked with someone that had enough testing to thoroughly investigate the causes of high reverse T3.

The Office of Dr. Brad Shook – do you have a list of tests you would get to help figure this out? I have had a ton of things tested.

How do we find out what the root cause is. I have an internist that found the Hashimotos. I’ve had a few other Drs. that I spent 13 years telling them something wasn’t right with me. I researched and even asked to be tested for t3 & t4. This new dr tested and out me in meds. What do I ask my doctor to test for in order to find out what what my body is doing. I’m on a Keto diet and am slowly losing weight but not like I should. This weight is driving me insane.

Borrow a book from the library called Root Cause by Dr Izabella Wentz. She also wrote a book called the Hashimoto Protocol . Both phenomenal resources. You will find MANY answers there of how to approach finding YOUR root causes. They are too numerous to list here. Best wishes.

        Thank you, for the info.

Christina Thanks for the tip! I saw she has a book called “Hashimotos Protocol” do you know if that one also helps finding the root cause? Then I don’t need both..
