Thank you doctor.
You’re welcome, hope it helps.
Why can a person have a blood draw at two different time spans in a few weeks and one can show Thyroid levels high or way low and the next one show within range?
Hi Elaine, I recorded this answer for you since it is a very common question that I get on a daily basis. Hope it helps. http://youtu.be/gU4wO5a5Xg4
Thank you, I figured you were asked this question often.
This was very helpful!! I can see this maybe happening.
Thank you so much! I get my tsh tested almost every month & it jumps back & forth every time. & every time my doctor wants to adjust my meds. It’s so frustrating but now I finally have an answer
Really helpful, thank you
Thanks for sharing this info! I have always enjoyed exercise but always have a few days after that I’m totally exhausted. I started an exercise regime with me oldest son this past month and it takes me a few days to recover. It is so frustrating.
Is that amount of protein a daily thing, or just the days you exercise?
How much protein is needed to recover from workouts?

Thank you Dr. Shook, I have been doing 30 to 60 minutes of low intensity weights , and 2 and a half hours walking, 5 days a week, for almost 2 years, I love it and always feel better after, but still haven’t seen any results from it. I wonder if I should do more weights? I’d hate to slow down my walking cause I love it so much.
Just started yoga again and sure can feel it. Thanks for the advice.
Great information! Thank you. More Protein it is for this woman. I do feel better with my Protein Shakes.
How do I get an appt with you? I live in Mooresville nc

Wow thanks just was making a new plan of exercise and thank makes sense. Shared. Have a great day!
I can get to sleep but toss and turn all night although don’t stay awake. I go from being too warm and then too cold. I am hypo, menopausal and think the menopause certainly makes thinks a little tricker. I also have hashimotos. My diet is good, I weight train and also walk. Apart from disturbed sleep I feel quite well and so much better exercising than not. I am also in good shape so no weight issues.
