What about eating more healthy fats to stabilize blood sugar?
yeah, could improve insulin sensitivity.
Low melatonin
Caffeine
Another good point. Don’t consume stimulants too late.
Low magnesium
I won’t fall asleep for 5 hours after I go to bed some days it’s aweful
And that will help with muscle cramping, too, yes?

Sleeping at altitude is so hard.
Does Neuro Calm have melatonin?
My blood sugar will drop to low 40’s and I have to get juice right away. My Doctor prescribed prednisone to level it out. I took 2 pills and became very angry so I can’t take it 🙁
I started wearing a sleep mask over my eyes huge help
GREAT POINT!I forgot to mention sleep apnea. Thanks Randy!
The Office of Dr. Brad Shook I think I might have sleep apnea, is there any way of testing for it apart from doing an overnight sleep test in hospital?
Rose McCloskey yes I’ve had a over night sleep study they said once I held my breath for 2 mins 27 secs that’s nuts but it’s really bad for you carbon monoxide levels high & low oxygen levels in your blood. I sleep with a CPAP mask that forces me to breath. But this doesn’t help me sleep but when used your sleep is quality. But I wear a sleep mask over my eyes. I fall to sleep easier plus now I sleep past sunrise. God bless take care of yourself
Are you in Pittsburgh area.
Brenda Schmeltz yes Rio Vista is where I am the study was done in Lodi
Thank you! 🙂
What were the supplements you suggested to use before bed
I’ve missed you doctor I’ve had bad throat pain my ENT had a ultrasound done that showed I had 7 nodules on my thyroid. I agreed to have it removed but the result was what I thought. No improvement my throat still hurts. I’ve had a big lump behind my chin. This hurts but also it seems like my lymph nodes. Ultrasound showed no foreign mass. It feels like someone is squeezing my throat. It seems like a shot of whiskey helps numb it. Thinking it might be inside my throat I told my ENT this. His advice was take 2 shots. I’m not a drinker in fact that shot was my 1st drink since 1981 a truck hit me head on while on my motorcycle. I had 23 broken bones, 5 dislocations & a severe concussion. I had one doctor tell me to use medical marijuana. Being a Dad like yourself I don’t think I want to send this message to them. Thank you for sharing your knowledge with us. God bless you Dr. Shook

Stress
Big time problems
what about the potato/ gluten relationship
I use magnesium oxide and sometime tylenol to help me sleep. But sometimes nothing helps
Magnesium oxide is a terrible form of magnesium unless you are constipated. It’s not absorbed well and goes right thru you
No, it doesn’t help you go. That’s magnesium sulfate. There are many different forms of magnesium that do different things. It absorbs fine. It cured my TMJ. The only thing that worked and only took 1 week. It has not returned.
Replay….staying asleep….been waking up at 3AM for a decade. It’s horrible
Will all this apply the same to Graves? Can’t stay awake when I need too. Can’t fall asleep and stay asleep when I need too.
