Too late for my thyroid. I lost it due to thyroid cancer. I also found out I had hashimotos for many years leading up to this surgery. I had nodules since my late 20’s. I am 55 now. I am a complete mess. After thyroidectomy my inflammation markers are off the charts. I live on prednisone. My life is a living hell…truly. Don’t end up like me people. If you suspect a thyroid issue then do what you have to do to not let it get this far. I went to so many doctors and was passed off as having anxiety and depression and it was causing all my symptoms…they could not have been more wrong.

  41. Jill Ann Tyler Dupre Reply

My hormone levels were always in the normal range. I had hashimotos for years during that time. I never felt ok though.

  42. Virginia Mariani Marsh Reply

The reason I’m asking is because I’ve been on Vyvanse longer than I’ve been treated for hypo and wondering if my meds are counterproductive

    • The Office of Dr. Brad Shook Reply
