It’s a amazing program I love it. Thank you so much

  4. Marci Lancieri Reply

Thyroid dis ease is hard to be diagnosed bc the symptoms are across the board. My hypothesis is the toxic agrochemicals are depleting & disrupting the natural mechanics of the human body. So in theory, good nutrition with organic foods & advoidance of other man made toxins should help.

What is the simplest thing I can do for severe graves disease? Please help. I stopped my methimazole. I want to take care of this auto immune disease naturally. I refuse to have it removed

    • The Office of Dr. Brad Shook Reply

I’ve seen the most Improvement working with Graves when the focus is on dampening the autoimmune process.

I found that the most beneficial thing to be changing diet.

You can consider dietary approaches like Autoimmune Paleo or you can follow are dietary program that is focused on dampening the autoimmune process and is video and guide book based.

If you’re interested in learning more about our transformation program you can check it out here hashimotosdoctor.com/tp

      hope this helps.

what are your thoughts on coffee? i drink 1/2 caffeine and black. Does or could coffee mess up the body? (if it turned out negative on a food sensitivity test – IgG)

    • The Office of Dr. Brad Shook Reply

The biggest problems I see with coffee is immune reactivity, altered cortisol production and hypoglycemia.

      • Christine Neubauer

The Office of Dr. Brad Shook hmmmm, interesting . that would pretty much sum it up for me. it makes sense.

      • The Office of Dr. Brad Shook

I think it’s more an issue of spiking your adrenal hormones and causing reactive low blood sugar than it is immune reactivity for most people. If it’s not organic coffee then it’s going to be very heavily sprayed with pesticides and herbicides so that’s another problem and then on top of that there’s now concerns because of the roasting process that it will be higher in acrylamide which is a carcinogenic compound. I think that the state of California is ordering Starbucks to put a warning that coffee could cause cancer because of these levels of acrylamide.

      • Christine Neubauer

The Office of Dr. Brad Shook i’ve tried organic coffee, it makes my mouth tingle and feel swollen

      • Christine Neubauer

coffee is the one thing i didn’t exclude from diet. i guess gradually wean off it. or maybe stick with 2 or 3 cups a day. (i only drink coffee from home) – i still get muscle tightening and burning feeling in my veins , not as much as i did when i was eating gluten and dairy, etc. so, it’s gotta be the coffee too.

Psoriasis and Hashimoto’s are both autoimmune and I’ve worked with a lot of people that have been able to put them into remission, or significantly improve them. I work with people across the us and in other countries. If you need help we may be a to help you through telemedicine. hope this helps.
