Hi Lisa, I hope this information helps you. Keep an eye out for the next few videos I’m going to be covering a very potent type of testosterone that can cause hair thinning very similar to that of male pattern baldness. The thing to keep in mind is that there are a lot of different possibilities and causes of your hair loss so I hope these videos give you some perspective and ideas of what you might need to consider. I hope this helps you. Have a great day.

I don’t know who you are or how you are so focused on thyroid problems but you should really start teaching these so called endos what to look for and so forth. I’ve had Graves since being dignosed since 15 yes old. I’m now 27. I still have my thyroid. I’m getting ready to tell my Dr to cut it out instead of upping and lowering my pills every 3 months. It should be the Dr saying to try something else.

hi Troy, sounds like you have been through a lot. I agree with you that the medical approach needs to consider the causes of the autoimmunity and not just focus on how to shut the immune system or thyroid down to alleviate symptoms. I’m trying to help get awareness out that there are other options and things that need to be considered. have a good day.

So what if you have had your gallbladder removed? Should I be taking an enzyme for digestion? My doctor says I don’t need anything? ( I have Hashimotos )

    • The Office of Dr. Brad Shook Reply

Rachael, in similar cases I have recommended digestive enzymes to be taken with food when the gallbladder is removed. In my patient base it is very common to have insufficiency of enzymes once the gallbladder is removed. hope this helps.

Thank you. Would this be forever or short term for healing the gut?

I’ve had gastric bypass and I know my absorption is compromised. Would enzymes help with digestion to absorption with my nutrients if taken with meals or with my supplements?

    • Toni Spiller Burton Reply

Catherine Richmeier-Shafer yes they would. My functional doctor also recommends eating ginger or drinking a tablespoon of apple cider vinegar in half a glass of warm water with meals.

#DrBradShook my galbladder is removed. My thyroid function is slow. I believe my colon switched off and stop working, suddenly huge hairloss, memory loss.
I drink Lanseloc for acid because of hernia, at night I take a teaspoon of bakingsoda.
Since last year Dec out of desperation I start drink8ng self brewed Kombucha which works awesome for my gut but terrible on the yeast.
    What to do?
Drs not interested to help because of lack of knowledge?
