To improve patient treatment outcomes, Dr. Shook is continuously learning the latest techniques to improve patient care. The clinic utilizes many of the latest evidence based chiropractic techniques in the treatment of headaches, neck and back pain, herniated discs, and spinal curvatures. Dr. Shook graduated from Sherman College of Straight Chiropractic in Spartanburg, SC. While studying chiropractic Shook obtained certification in Cox Flexion Distraction technique and is one of only thirteen active, certified doctors in North Carolina. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Appalachian State University in Boone, NC prior to beginning his chiropractic studies.
