About the age of 11 I started passing out. For approximately two years I was diagnosed as being anemic at age 13 I had a doctor diagnose me with hyperthyroidism. I’m 48 now. Over the course of that time my dose rarely changed until approximately 10 years ago period since then I’d fluctuated between hyper and hypo drastically. I’ve tried tree specialist recently never having one before except for when I was diagnosed. Over the course of the last 10 years or so every 3 months my medicine changes goes from high to low high to low. During the last year my symptoms have progressed and I’m scared. The doctors have told me there was nothing to worry about they would just fluctuate and I will just have to have my medicine changed. Now my system is messed up so bad that my skin is breaking down and I can’t fight infection. I was told I could have an autoimmune lupus or kidney problem. My question to you is it controllable by food. I love gluten but I do notice significant abdominal discomfort and pain. December 1st I’m having a complete blood work done and they suggest a scan of my thyroids. Do you have any suggestions for when I do go to the doctor my PA is better than the specialist, which to me is sad. She has suggested a gluten-free diet and I know you say it’s individually diagnosed but is there anything I need to test for or ask for when I go on the 1st?
