So no cooling off in my pool anymore

Hi Dawn, I would just try to limit chlorine exposure. I don’t think we have any definitive information on how much chlorinated pool water impacts health (if you find any please share it), but it is toxic and competes with iodine so I try to be conservative and use filters on all drinking and bath/shower water.

And one should only be in the sauna for 10minutes at the most…. right?

I talked to a lady who decided to stay in longer, like 30minutes, and she got sick, weak, and for days she didn’t feel right, She bought power aide, and other drinks to help her feel better…

Hi Lisa, yes, you have to be very cautious and go slow when starting to use a sauna. It took me a long time to work up a higher tolerance. Electrolyte drinks do help, but I would not use anything with artificial food coloring or artificial sweeteners. Thanks for the comment, I hope this helps you.
