We are able to help people investigate the factors driving their symptoms by taking very detailed Health histories and ordering Advanced Diagnostic testing to help us figure out why they are having the symptoms you’re having. How do you increase serotonin and dopamine?

  11. The Office of Dr. Brad Shook Reply

Hi Sherry! That’s a very simple question but in reality a very complex answer. The primary question you have to ask is why are those neurotransmitters not in balance. The most common reasons that we find in clinical practice is that there is an inflammatory process, endocrine problem like hypothyroidism, or blood sugar dysregulation… Maybe even all three or any combination of those things that are driving a lot of these problems.

There’s always something underlying that is disrupting brain chemistry. There are several other possibilities but those are the most common.

    I hope this helps.
