I didn’t feel great for a long time – since Jan ~ the 1st thing that had helped – is healing the gut first – I have leaky gut, some toxins, and yeast overgrowth ~ I take bone broth, collagen peptides, fish oil ( cholesterol has dropped a lot ) d3 every night – if your gut isn’t right – your hashimoto’s and body is sooooo wrong

I am 43 and diagnosed with Hashimoto’s about 4 years ago. I am a true advocate for myself and I am determined to help myself naturally through constantly researching. I have been Paleo 3 years ago because I tested positive of gluten sensitivity. I fell off the wagon a few times, but I recently began AIP 23 days ago and I have made a lot of progress, but I still have a long way to go. I have been on Armour since diagnosed, but recently switched to Nature Throid because my FT3 went too high and my meds were decreased. I am very excited to part of this community so I can continue to learn and reach optimal health. Thank you again for doing this….you are awesome!

My recent total cholesterol was 165 with my HDL 62 (protective) and my vitamin D 84. My sex hormones are low and FSH high. My primary wants to put me on synthetic HRT and I am very uncomfortable and would love your input. My biggest concern is that my recent Ferritin levels were high 180, although all of my other iron levels were normal. I am very worried about this at the moment, but my doctor seems to be not as concerned. We are retesting in a few weeks.
