Just because it is less common.

Graves disease has to be a dress like hashimotos in the fact that it is an autoimmune condition and you have to address the drivers of the autoimmunity to help it.

Do you help with that? ??

I had Graves disease that wouldn’t be controlled by medicines. Ended up doing RAI treatment which made me hypo. then had a problem with the Synthroid and had to go on Tirosint.

Doreen, yes, I help the person identify the causes of the autoimmunity so that they can work on naturally dampening the autoimmune attack.

I hear so many stories from people regarding terrible bedside manner, you wouldn’t believe it. It really comes down to the doctor not knowing everything, and rather than being open to learning, they shutdown and get defensive. In most cases they are just trying to protect you, others are just closed minded. It’s a shame, they have an opportunity to change so many lives.

I have hypothyroidism, lupus and ra… But never diagnosed with Hashimotos disease… I have been on immune suppressant methotrexate for the RA… But now nothing bcs after being so sick for so long I can no longer work or afford insurance. I’m worried about running out of my thyroid meds… That’s all the meds I have left. I heard coconut milk or coconut water helps to flush out the thyroid gland… Is thus true???

I go to a clinic that goes by your income. Trust me, they ain’t checking for much of anything. My doctor must be grandfathered in with the clinic. I get 30 minutes a year with him. He told me the nodules on the top of my right foot were bunions. I have no hope in the medical field. Not at all. I’m diagnosed with RA, COPD, Hypothyriodism ( Doctor said not bad enough to be on medication and he only checked me one time in 10 years). I literally give up.

I wish I knew about you when I lived in Raleigh :(. Just moved from there 4 months ago to Tampa Florida. If you know a great Doctor who knows how to treat me here I would love your recommendation. Thanks.
