Well, all I know is that Gollum was gluten-free and we all know how THAT ended.

What about eggs? I react poorly to eggs.

    • Christi Probst Huntsman Reply

Eggs can be a cross reactive food for some.

      • The Office of Dr. Brad Shook

Eggs are one of the foods that we have you temporarily take out of your diet in our online program. Our online program includes dietary recommendations that help find out what could be triggering your problems. You can get it here: thyroidgiveaway.com

  10. Jeannie Cumbie Starling Reply

    I didn’t feel any better gluten-free

    • Christi Probst Huntsman Reply

Give it up for 3 months. After that, reintroduce it back and then see if you have a reaction.

      • Jeannie Cumbie Starling

        I did for 1 1/2 years

      • Jeannie Cumbie Starling

And yes, I reacted when I started back

      • The Office of Dr. Brad Shook

We hear that sometimes Jeannie. Sometimes there are other foods that you react to also, so you really don’t feel better because your autoimmunity is still being triggered. We have an online plan that includes dietary recommendations specifically geared toward finding out what could be triggering your problems. You can get it at thyroidgiveaway.com

      • Jeannie Cumbie Starling

I messaged you on your fb page asking if the $495 plan includes tests?

  11. Jeannie Cumbie Starling Reply

    Oh……

  12. Jeannie Cumbie Starling Reply

I was eating gluten-free rice, oaks, bread. So I need to not eat processed foods, only protein, veggies and fruit. Got it!

  14. Oksana Stolyarchuk Reply

I agree. Going gluten free helped a lot, but I can see now that eggs, corn, soy, and milk play a role as well. But it’s so hard to exclude those as well, leaves almost nothing fun to eat.

    • The Office of Dr. Brad Shook Reply

We have an online program with special dietary recommendations, shopping lists, and great recipes. As part of the online program you also would be a part of the closed Facebook support group where people regularly share their own recipes as well. You can get that program here: thyroidgiveaway.com

I have had my thyroidectomy. Recently increased Levothyroxine to 100mcg because I had no energy & cold hands. I’ve been off sugar & wheat for about 6 weeks now. I am battling yeast(thrush). Currently for 6 days doing a cleanse in the mornings.. Drink a scoop in 8-10 oz water, then follow with water.. Any advice will b appreciated..

I don’t eat gluten, sugar or dairy. Feel pretty good. I lost 12 lbs but wasn’t trying to. I drink lots of water. I went off of coffee as it was upsetting my stomach but I’ve added that one cup back in and it’s not bothering me. I use raw honey sometimes and pure maple syrup sometimes. I love Danielle Walkers books, check her out.
