Just diagnosed with Hashimotos. Calcium in my blood. Have been taking synthroid. Now my parathyroid is also releasing calcium into my blood.

    • The Office of Dr. Brad Shook Reply

Hi Angela if it is close to 10 or above 10 you need to have your parathyroid hormone levels checked. If they are high then you need to see an endocrinologist if you’re not already.

      • Angela Dianna Rose

I am and I just had a parathyroid scan. Will see endocrinologist on Feb 23 and learn what she recommends. Thank you for taking the time to send a response. I just found your videos yesterday. My 33 year old niece was also just diagnosed with Hashimotos and she has anemia so bad they’re giving her transfusions. And my daughter has celiac really bad but has not been diagnosed with hashimoto. Still I’m concerned about her. I appreciate you sir. You’re dedicated.
