Hey, just got on. What correlation is there to autoimmunity and cancer? I have a horrible skin rash I wonder if it could be mycosis fungicides, I already have had colorectal cancer. I’m afraid it could be cancer again.

It doesn’t fall into the traditional medical model. Much of medical care is based on what insurance companies will cover.

Mine won’t adjust anything. He keeps me in the low end of normal for TSH. My WBC counts have been sky high for a few years now. They were so high that I spent 2 years under the care of an oncologist that observed me and ran his own tests. They also sent me to an internist that did a few autoimmune tests. Nothing. My health continues to decline. Last year I was diagnosed with a heart condition due to fluid around the heart and this year I was told I have IBS. Every year a new “disease” is added to my list. I am prescribed at least 12 medications. I’ve been like this for about 20 years. I’m used to it yet not. I live in a mostly rural area. Every doctor dismisses you as long as your TSH is in range. I exist. I don’t live.

What if an Endocrinologist won’t test for Reverse T3? When asked, she told me that they no longer run that test because it’s useless and only inexperienced doctors do it. 🙁 I don’t believe this but that is what she told me when she denied my request for it.

I find it is a huge problem in many of the people that I work with. High levels literally block T3 from attaching to your cells. It’s very important but just not important to them in their pathological assessment. When you look at it from a functional perspective, it’s critical.
