Does the same thing happen with elevated/constant stress rather than not eating frequently enough? In regards to the mother hormone being robbed from all the other hormones?

This is a big wake up call & scary stuff! Myself & my family have a lot of work to do! Thank you so much for sharing this with us Dr. Shook. Hearing it all explained, a lot of it makes sense.

When eliminating all the processed sugars & foods from our diets, isn’t there a period of time where you’ll actually feel a lot worse before you start feeling better? I just want to be prepared & have confirmation, so when/if I or one of my family members gets discouraged we will know that it will get better & will all be worth it on the other side

Just got back from seeing my thyroid doctor today and he plainly told me there was nothing he could do but keep me on synthroid and levels in the middle to keep my heart palpitations downs and that there is NO cure for hashimotos. I am so discouraged right now

That’s correct there is no cure for Hashimoto’s but you can control the environmental factors that influence the genes that cause the the autoimmune condition and that’s the key.

Hoping I can learn from your videos and get some relief from the symptoms and flair ups. Seems complicated but going to try whatever I need to do to feel better. Thank you Dr. Shook for making these videos to help us understand!!

“I don’t know why you guys like to hear me ramble” Do you know why we like to hear you ramble? Its because you are bringing all this stuff forward and out into the open. Things we need to know. The result? EMPOWERMENT. I think its one of the vital keys to healing.

I learned a lot here. You and the white board make things clear and you’re a genius – because normally I look at hormones like they’re a foreign language. You really made that something I could comprehend! THANK YOU!!!!
