Sadly as I mentioned in another post, I was diagnosed w/Papillary Thyroid Carcinoma!! 2 Surgeon consults already & even though the cancer is on left side of Thyroid,both the Surgeons said I should remove the whole Thyroid due to 3 sm. nodules on the right side as well. My Thyroid levels are normal & have under the care of a Conventional/ Holistic Dr. that has got me feeling so much better through diet & supplements! Sadly Dr. is leaving practice so on the hunt again. My question is what advice could you give me on Thyroid Removal & the chance of me being fine with just having 1/2 removed. I do not want to be put on meds but I also don’t want to worry about the other nodules becoming cancerous!! I have been feeling my best since this whole Diagnosis began
