    Would you be concerned about hormones in contraceptives with Hashimotos?

      Yes, it can cause you to have poor delivery of thyroid hormone through the blood. Very common problem.

        Wow! Doctors here (Ireland) are saying Mirena is safe due to being estrogen free. They don’t see any link between this and progressing Hypo/Hashimotos. Thanks for advice!

    I need a thorough physician like you! I’m 45. Went from hashimotos to thyroid cancer. Followed by hysterectomy. I’m a mess and feel as if I’m falling apart now. Help me request the proper labs and convince doctors to listen.
