Research Shows: Rehabilitation of Neck Curve Improves Spinal Nerve Root Function and Pain

Did you know that your neck is supposed to have a curve, and that loss of that curve can lead to osteoarthritis, pain, and according to new research, decrease function of your spinal nerve roots1   This means that if you have a loss of the curve in your neck, not only are you at risk of developing arthrits and pain, but that the nerves leading to your skin, muscles and organs, could be compromised.  What do you think would happen to an organ if it didn’t receive adequate nerve supply?  Since the nerves and the nervous system coordinate all bodily functions, it’s probably not a good idea to lose some of your nerve supply to vital organs and tissues.

As far as I know, this is the first research ever to show a relationship between the curve in your spine and nerve root function.  We use the most researched technique in physical medicine to correct abnormal spinal curves.  If you would like to learn more about our clinic, visit is at www.AllianceChiropracticCenter.com, or call (828) 324-0800.
