The Little Known Ovarian Cyst (PCOS) And Thyroid Connections…

  1. Kelly Duda Reply

Have PCOS. Been on a weight loss journey for 18 months. Changed eating to high protein plant based diet. Been working with a personal trainer. Now seeing a functional medicine physician. Had my thyroid panel done several times. Always comes out fine. Have only lost 25#. I am on several medical grade supplements addressing microbiome and body chemistry issues. I cannot tolerate metformin. Any suggestions? Thanks so much!

  7. Teresa Overton Reply

Wow you are describing exactly what I’m going through I have been hypoglycemic for about 10 years and now I have hypothyroidism do you recommend a ketogenic diet to cure this?

  8. Suzette Smith Reply

I kept going to my doctor and he would say everything is good. I was like I haven’t had a period in x months and I am not pregnant. He was like it’s fine. My next checkup….same thing. I was like I haven’t had a period in like 10 months and that isn’t right at my age. He told me just be happy with no period in my early 30’s. I went to a different doctor and got another checkup. I had 4 cysts on my ovaries and my previous doctor said nothing. I had the facial hair, no period, thyroid problems, ugh.

    This is Mandi…
She has hypothyroidism. Hashimoto’s and the dark skin color on her neck. The early signs of diabetes.
I just made Mandi start taking her thyroid medication again.

Terri Lucas-Clark yea I’ve suspected that the whole time. Normally thyroid and PCOS go hand and hand
